Project Overview: 

Clayton County Fire's new versatile, high-performing command and communications unit can be utilized for incident command, drone missions, fire investigations, HAZMAT incidents, dive teams, and fire fighter training. The CRU-22 integrates the latest emergency response communications packages on a rugged Ford Transit T350 High Roof Extended chassis. This unit is designed to be easy to use and rapidly responsive.

 

Technology:

The communications equipment was designed to be flexible and support response missions, providing a highly capable command platform. The A/V system features (3) Monitors/Displays, (4) Perimeter video cameras, an HD Rooftop camera with 30x zoom and 360-degree pan/tilt, 8x4 Video switcher with remote panel at console, AppleTV, Drone/Aerial video capture, and Off-air tuner. This truck also features a rackmount PC, an 8-input, 4 terabyte network DVR that records 500 hours. The Cradlepoint ruggedized cellular router provides internet access for all users in the truck.
