Project Overview:
Gulf Coast State College recently accepted two Frontline Communications C-25 Mobile Command and Communication vehicles purpose-built for hurricane response in the Florida panhandle.
Technology:
Data services run on a cellular and satellite backbone. This is augmented by a mast-based point-to-point transmission system featuring auto-acquisition and transfer rates of over 1 gigabit per minute, intended for transfer of live UAV video between trucks. Additional features include a Columbia weather station, Dual Visual/Thermal PTZ Camera, amateur (HAM) radio system with auto-tuning and PC controls, a video switching matrix, and multiple PCs for data processing.
