Rugged vehicles for a rugged environment.
Overview
Severe weather conditions call for a heavy-duty weather chaser vehicle with advanced technology.
Frontline Communications’ weather chasers are built to perform in all weather conditions so you can keep your community safe and informed. Built on a full or mid-sized SUV or pickup truck chassis, these rugged vehicles pack a lot of technology inside including weather monitoring systems, Frontline Communications’ Live&Drive™ camera systems with two, three, or four cameras, large articulating rear monitors for live stand up shots, and multiple transmission systems.
These trucks are ruggedized with all-weather features to help keep the crew and equipment secure. Choose from lift kits, off-road wheels and tires, brush guards, LED Light packages, custom roof racks, and more.
Frontline Communications’ storm tracker vehicle accommodates up to two custom built equipment racks and is powered by Frontline Communications’ patented VIP® power system. Large rear storage capacity, ergonomic workstations, and available custom options such as camera lockers and tripod tubes make this vehicle a fully capable live news, traffic, and weather truck.
